A gathering table sits 36″-42″ tall, a bit higher than traditional dining tables. Although gathering
tables allow expansion for extra seating, overall they are smaller than average dining tables. Gathering tables are on the informal side of things and are great for casual entertaining as the higher seats bring guests to eye level while you serve. Older guests and those who find lower chairs difficult on their backs and knees will appreciate how easy it is to slip in and out of the bar chairs. High dining could not be more literal or stylish.
